Jade A. Herrick, born on July 8, 1992, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2008, at the age of
15 from complications after heart surgery.
Jade was a beautiful girl who touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all. She was
known to all, as the girl with the smile. She volunteered for several different organizations,
but especially loved working for AWSBC. Along with her mother, Valerie, she loved and
cared for the cats and kittens that were up for adoption. Her love for all animals, especially
the cats, was a joy to see. Jade also volunteered for the Special Olympics and Race For
The Cure. She was such a beautiful soul and tried to be a friend to everyone. She will
always be missed. She will never be forgotten.
